Car Into Dentist Office: Child Among 2 Injured Following Long Island Crash (Video)

Two people were injured, including a child, when a car crashed through the front window of a dentist office on Long Island.

The incident happened in Plainview, at the Plainview Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics on Old Country Road, just before 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 4.

A 67-year-old woman was driving a Volkswagen SUV when she crashed through the front of the building, injuring a 20-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy inside, Nassau County Police said.

Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was not harmed in the collision.

Photos showed an SUV fully inside the building, with significant damage to the building’s front entryway.

It was not immediately clear whether speed or impairment were factors in the crash. The incident is under investigation, Nassau County Police said.
